with improvements to the core spam detection engine, optimized speed, better support
for exchange cluster users, and new features.
The SEM core engine has been updated to give better spam filtering. The latest
forms of spam mails, including PDF spam and image spam, can be blocked with this
updated spam filtering engine.

SEM 3.4.0 introduces full support for active/passive Exchange cluster users.
SPAMfighter Exchange Module Clustering provides users with full fail-over capability
and thus provides users with continuous spam and virus protection in case of system
failure or maintenance.

Various places in SEM have been modified to make SEM significantly faster. The
administration module is now notably faster than in previous versions. In addition,
the SEM engine and menu control have also been optimized for maximum speed. With
these new improvements users will be feel the increased speed of the SEM program.

The start-up of the SPAMfighter service in SEM 3.4.0 has also been improved. The
start-up speed for over 1,000 users is now faster. In addition, installation for
users behind firewalls is now better supported. This means a much smoother
installation process helping to get users up and running with SEM quickly and
easily.

Various features have been added to SEM giving the user more options and
information. The help manual has been modified to make it easier and give users
more information on SEM. In addition, the administration module and system e-mails
are now offered in French. Finally, the statistics have been modified to give users
a better understanding how well SEM is working.
